As a result of my research into clothing and memory I experimented with damaging and modifying fabrics with both the needle-punch machine and the heat press. I also explored weaving as a means to transmit meaning and memory through association of materials. I experimented a lot with glitching twills and, altgough the results on the samples are a simplified version of such experiments, I will carry on my research on this front for future projects. I used some of the techniques in these samples to produce a garment for a fashion show (see later posts).
